Pasadena ISD values students and their health.  In Pasadena ISD, you will find a Registered Nurse on each campus.  The goal of the school nurse is to assist all students to maintain their health and support their success in school.

In Pasadena ISD, in addition to possessing their RN certification, all of the school nurses are trained by the experienced lead nurses in the identification, assessment, prevention, and intervention to remedy or modify students' health needs.

On each campus, the nurse is responsible for checking the required immunizations, performing the state required health screenings, and keeping the lines of communication open with the students' parents when needed.

*All students must have Tdap and Meningitis Vaccination to begin 7th grade. Please submit proof of vaccination to the school nurse before the first day of 7th grade!​
